The market had started to decline and I was paying over $1000/month to make up the mortgage in addition to a mortgage on my primary residence. After doing this for about a year and depleting my savings I decided to try to sell the property. Mr Loughman, when I contacted you regarding the predicament I was in, you were very honest with regarding the state the market in and I thought all that was left for me to do was to just walk away from it. You later informed me about trying a short sale, and after filling out mountains of paper work and many months of you negotiating with the bank they finally agreed. The property sold for $75,000 and the bank forgave me for the balance owed. It seems like an eternity since we last saw each other. Things have been very busy for us since we returned to Indiana at the end of March. We were eating lunch today and Bruce Springsteen came on the music system playing "Dancing In The Dark". I can only think of you guys every time I hear that song!
I wanted to tell you just how much we appreciated everything you both did for us while selling our house. As you know, we had interviewed another realtor the day before you  came. All we heard was doom and gloom from the realtor and began wondering about selling. We knew we wanted to sell, but didn't have to sell. But the second you entered our home our decision was made. Not only were you the two most cheerful people we had met, but you were genuinely interested in our house and had nothing but praise for the house. It was obvious how much you cared about a potential client and their home. After all, it was our home, not just a house. Through your perseverance, patience, and diligent work you found the right buyer for our home. We realize that selling a house in today's market is not an easy task and therefore wanted to let you know how much we appreciated everything you did for us. We have certainly told many people about Exit Realty and specifically the two of you.
